Terms of Use

These terms describe the responsibilities that apply when you use ContactMyParent, create a profile or order QR name labels.

Using ContactMyParent

You must be an adult with authority to create and manage the relevant parent profile. You are responsible for keeping account information accurate, protecting access to your account and using the service lawfully.

What the service does

ContactMyParent connects a QR label to a parent-controlled contact profile. A compatible device and internet connection are required to open the finder page. The service supports communication but does not guarantee that an item will be found, scanned or returned.

Not an emergency service

ContactMyParent is not a replacement for emergency services, responsible adult supervision or an appropriate child-safety plan. In an emergency, contact the relevant local authorities or emergency service.

Your profile and content

You decide what accurate contact information to add and whether it is visible to finders. Do not add unlawful, misleading or unnecessary sensitive information. Finder messages must not be threatening, abusive, deceptive or used to contact a family for an unrelated purpose.

Products and orders

Product availability, pack contents and prices are those shown or confirmed when an order is accepted. Images may show labels in example settings. Application suitability depends on the surface and its care instructions; follow the instructions supplied with the product.

Acceptable use

You may not probe or disrupt the service, bypass access controls, misuse QR codes, impersonate another person, collect finder or parent information without authority, or use the service to harm, harass or defraud anyone.

Availability and changes

We may maintain, update or suspend parts of the service. We aim to keep it available but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may restrict accounts or labels used in breach of these terms.

Intellectual property

The ContactMyParent name, website, software, designs and original content belong to ContactMyParent or its licensors. Purchasing labels does not transfer those rights.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ContactMyParent is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from unavailable networks, incompatible devices, inaccurate profile information, a finder's conduct or misuse of a label. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms and will post the revised version and date here. Questions can be sent to support@contactmyparent.com.
