Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information ContactMyParent collects, why we need it and the choices available to parents and visitors.

Who the service is for

ContactMyParent is designed for parents and other responsible adults. Children should not create accounts or submit personal information. A parent decides what information to add to a profile and what a finder may see.

Information we collect

  • Account and profile information: phone number, name and optional home address, alternate contact number and alternate address.
  • Label information: bundle codes, label types, status and the account connected to a label pack.
  • Finder messages: the message submitted after a QR code is scanned, the associated label code and submission time.
  • Order enquiries: an email address or phone number, the selected products and the quoted total.
  • Technical information: session-cookie information and website interaction data collected through Microsoft Clarity, such as page visits, clicks, scrolling, device and browser information.

How we use information

We use information to operate accounts, connect labels to profiles, display the parent-selected finder experience, deliver finder messages, respond to product enquiries, protect the service and understand where the website is difficult to use.

What a finder can see

If a parent makes a profile visible, scanning the QR code can show the name, phone number and any optional address or alternate contact information the parent has saved. If the profile is private, the finder sees a message form instead of those profile details. Parents should provide only information they are comfortable using for this purpose.

Service providers and disclosure

We use service providers to host the website and database, send operational email and analyze website use. Microsoft Clarity may process technical and interaction data under Microsoft's own terms. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect people or the service, or as part of a business transfer. We do not sell personal information.

Cookies and analytics

We use a session cookie to keep signed-in users authenticated. Microsoft Clarity may use cookies or similar technologies for session recordings, heatmaps and usage analysis. Browser settings can limit cookies, although account features may then stop working correctly.

Retention and security

We retain account, label and message information while it is needed to provide the service and for legitimate operational, security and legal purposes. We use reasonable safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

Parents can update their profile and visibility setting through their account. To ask for access, correction or deletion of personal information, email support@contactmyparent.com. We may need to verify the request before acting on it.

Children's privacy

We do not knowingly invite children under 13 to create accounts or submit information. If you believe a child has provided information without appropriate parental involvement, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the service changes. Material updates will be posted here with a revised date. Questions can be sent to support@contactmyparent.com.
